Update

Currently I am preparing a documentation about telecommunication and networking. The technical side of this step is taking more time normally. But the descriptions and explanations are the easier side. Still fun though.

ps. I started to use Cisco Packet Tracer software. It's like brand new hello for me to the internet world.

As soon as I started to use computer design softwares, I was thinking about how I can make an e-journal. Well, let's say that I was at high school those times, and was reading lots of fictional books, stories and poems. So I had internet, which consists of a huge database of fictional books etc. It'd be said the universe of fiction. There were not only books, stories which are written by amateur writers, but also electronic journals, magazines. I was looking into them, was about to be lost in that amazing graphical patterns and layouts. Those were incredible. Hence, I had always wanted to create one of those magazines since that time. It does not matter how many pages are included in it or how much time it takes. The important thing is spending time with creating a stuff. That's why I took this idea seriously for almost two years. Every end of the semesters, we are announcing the new issue of our e-journal Yorunge. We got pretty good responses from all around the university clubs so far. I am so determined to keep continue this work till my graduation.

Taking everthing into account, the third issue is ready to be published. It'll be posted here, on my blog, after I announced it on my student branch pages.

I haven't written anything new here for a while. However, there are plenty of works that I have currently participated in, or finished already. I will certainly record all of them one by one. It'll take a while that's because  I am studying for my exams, and designing our club's printed materials at the same time.

Last but not least

Just realized that how I would love to work on something about system architecture, networking and security. Actually I've already know that I'm curious about networking. To this way, I got network security notes of MIT on the web. Feeling so determined to handle this stuff right now. Although I have some good notes about it, there is a problem about which softwares and channels I should try to use. Luckily I know how to get the best answers on the net. So just waiting right now :)

I guess this might be my working field in the future. System architecture, networking and security. So does cryptology and encryption.

Addition: Just got an e-mail from CodeSchool. Appearently they offered such a nice summer camp on Pluralsight. It's completely online and open from now to the end of August. 48 online courses, and about 1 month left to take the badges. There are such good prizes like Silicon Valley Comic Con in 2016 for the users that handle the challenges well. Maybe? :) (16.07.2015 / I forgot to write the exact hour anyway.)



Yet another addition: Practical Networking is my interest now. I have four days to finish watching these course tutorials(3h 26m). After that my first badge will be sent to my email. (16.07.2015 / 02:08)

Yet another update of my current living. Hi, after a long period. Hope everything is ok wherever you are.

I would love to keep writing all the time on this blog. But I couldn't find enough time for it this summer. It sounds odd, right? I know. I couldn't, that's because I was confused a little about using a spesific blog service. There are pretty good blog platforms, like this one, Google's. For instance, Wordpress is another great blogging service. Almost everyone in the sector knows it. I decided to turn my personal web blog into a professional blog. So I think the best platform is Wordpress nowadays. I like Blogger, however it cannot give us more features but just writing. I mean of course it has lots of good features, but what about the design? It's one of the major disadvantages. I will keep using and writing on Blogger anyway. I like its own way.

Greetings, after a really long break time! This is the first time I'm using GooglePlus's post connection option. Actually I like it. But I can't redesign it with the html codes. Because it includes some sort of JavaScript library. So I haven't known JS very well yet. Maybe I could change some properties, like widelength of the shared-post. It would be much better anyway.

What did I do during this quiet period?

Most of my time was wasted by dealing with such the university stuff, midterms, studying, studying and so on. I don't regret it at all. But I should have spent enough time to develop this personal blog. After the most occupied session, I took a look at a few code editors, such as Webstorm(from JetBrains). Truth be told, I really like it. It has very speacial features, like its design or development environment. However, if we compare it with Brackets(brackets.io), that's not very dynamic. Of course it's my humble opinion. Some people can think of the opposite side for sure. Brackets is still my favourite IDE till now. Especially its live preview feature is absolutely amazing! In the market, there are few editors too which contain the same feature. For instance, Atom editor(atom.io) is capable of doing the exact operation. But unfortunately, it's on just Macbooks for now. And I do not use Mac OS. So I have to wait until it released to Windows.

Hi there! As you can see below this post, I had passed extremely two weeks in the department. I was very busy in that period, but ideas kept coming to my mind. -I don't still realize that why great ideas come to mind in the intensive times. What an awkward situation it is!- Shortly, I made a list including the topics that I'd like to do or research about.

Of course, I won't write the whole list right over here. However, maybe I will write some of them one by one. Now, I'd like to talk about the first one: Learning html and css. HTML(Hypertext Markup Language) is not a programming language. People whom I talk about this always said that it is a programming language. But it is not! It's used to create simple web site templates. Basically, tables, frames, fonts, sizes, colours or something like this. It's much more complicated for sure. I just need enough time to comprehend it. And I'll do that during the following weeks. The next one is CSS(Cascading Style Sheets). It's a style sheet language which is used for describing the look and formatting of a document written in a markup language(often html). Actually I have a little knowledge about CSS. So this introduction is enough for now. Hope I'll improve it as soon as I can.

Let's talk about what's next after html and css. I want to learn PHP in the next. At least, it would be great if I understand PHP programming logic. And maybe I'll look at Javascript a little bit. As you can see, I am pretty curious about web programming these days. 'cause I know it's one of the main parts of entrepreneurship.

Hello all! I haven't been here for a while. In this period, tons of things changed, such as my perspective. It's being changing all the time, though. Here are some updates of my life.

1. Microsoft DreamSpark:  I've made an application to get verified my account as a student profile. Therefore, I tried it three times as I remember. But every single time, I got an error. Made a contact with Microsoft Support Team. Thankfully, they helped me a lot. After a long time, my account got verified. Now, I can download any Microsoft software legally.

2. Pocket: I have explored an android application, called Pocket or other words Read It Later. The name was changed for a reason. These days, I'm totally in this app. I loved and can't stop using it. I can save whatever I'd like to read on the internet in it. I can use it on the laptop, or smart phone whenever I want. It doesn't matter. And that's the biggest point. In my opinion, it's pretty successful. I'll make a critic for this application later.

3. Engineering Stuff: I'm interested in soldering nowadays. That's because I have a circuit project that I have to make any time sooner. So I'm trying to learn this process. It's really important for us as engineering students. I have already nice future dreams about this. I'm planning that I must organize an event for the next year. Besides this, I almost planned that another event which includes C++ programming. I think I will be ready for this in the second semester.

About Development of Text Based Calculator

Hi folks! I have learned a fact that is related to do all mathematical(ok, just four basic ones) process according to your request. The first version of my text based calculator was very simple and ordinary a bit. You had to use the commands step by step for doing any mathematical process. You can analyze the codes of that project, and examine the details at the previous post published October 7. Anyway, I have learned "switch case" command to organize the steps to your requirement. But it's being still developed. Hopefully, I'll publish that in a few days. I think I should name the calculator. It's such an easy-work but worth.
